Plenty of kudos to go around...
Mood: happy

I don't know where to start. Amnesty International finally took the correct position on abortion this past weekend. Jessica Valenti of New York City wrote an excellent article on her blog about the Manhattan Mini-Storage company's billboard and why it is the best billboard ever, much to the dismay of Bigot Donohue and the Christofascists, who slammed the billboard.

Amnesty International, who is supported by psychedelic rocker Doug Ingle of Iron Butterfly, says that its mission is to protect human rights and that means supporting a woman's right to an abortion. Not suprisingly, the misogynists in the Roman Catholic Church now says they will pull their support of the group over this.

Amnesty's pro-choice platform was long overdue. No one can claim they support human rights by taking an anti-choice stance on abortion -- because anti-choice people are against women's freedoms.

Speaking of steaming, misogynist Christians in the US are outraged over the above billboard and its picture of a coat hanger, to be more specific. The Catholic League, led by the evil pig Bill Donohue, wanted to censor the Mini-Storage by ordering the billboard taken down saying that it's "vulgar and in-your-face crude". The Christofascists are full of nonsense. But luckily, thanks to Miss Valenti, I was able to praise the Manahattan Mini-Storage's courage for resisting the Christofascists and for not backing down to the Catholic League. We need more companies like the Manhattan Mini-Storage. In fact, it would be nice if the Manhattan Mini-Storage were to post the pro-choice billboard across the entire nation. Many of the women I know, including my best friend, don't know what a coat hanger was used for prior to January 22, 1973. I do, and that is remarkable given the fact that I am a man. Women used the coat hangers to have abortions in the back alleys -- sadly, killing and maiming themselves in the process. The billboard is a wake-up call to all women that their rights are under assault by an extreme Christian agenda.

Again, kudos to Amnesty International and Jessica Valenti for their oustanding achievements this week.

Augusta Chronicle spews its same ol' homophobic bile

In Monday's editorial section, the Augusta Chronicle has once again shown its true colors. They are alleging that a Scottsdale, Arizona bar owner is under investigation for a hate crime, when in fact, he is being investigated for discrimination. The Chronicle are also buying into the lies of religious bigots who condone the killing of gay people in the name of God. Quite frankly, I am tired of the disgusting editorials coming from the Chronicle, which would rather give terrorists more rights than people in the LGBT community.

Why won't the Chronicle start giving the facts about the Matthew Shepard Act instead of spewing the same bile as the Christofascists who oppose this much-needed bill of once? The newspaper is a disgrace to all of the people who love the CSRA.

Who REALLY hates freedom?

Star Parker mentioned in her op-ed piece about Sen. Clinton and how the New York/Arkansas Democrat really 'hates' freedom. Nothing could be even further from the truth. FACT: It is Parker and the rest of the women-hating neocons who totally hate freedom. In fact, under the leadership of the neocons since 2001, the United States have moved from being a democracy to being a dictatorship. That's right, a dictatorship.

Parker also fails to mention that all but three nations that we have a beef with are all capitalist societies -- which goes hand-in-hand with the evil patriarchy that still exist here in America. The three nations that we have a feud with, but aren't capitalist are: China, Cuba and Venezuela. The rest of the nations we have a beef with -- including all of the nations that the Bush Admin says sponsors terrorism -- are all strictly capitalist. Which means that my argument is correct: just because you have a lot of economic freedom does not mean that you're a free nation. And sadly, we here in the United States are finding that out the hard way. The best way to find out about how much freedom you really have is to gauge the personal freedoms. Add it all up -- and that is why we are no longer a free nation. Women in the United States are offically second-class citizens.

It is the Democrats: Obama, Clinton and Edwards who really support freedom. Why? Because they have supported policies that would decrease the size in government, unlike the misogynist conservatives. And the trio support less government without having to use it as a campaign slogan. Another thing I noticed is that the people who say that they are for less government (on the trail, in ads, etc.) are actually in favor of a Big Brother government. Thomas Ravenel is one example.

And about the charitable piece. Neocons donate more to their special interests because they are born with silver spoons in their mouth and have never done one honest thing in their lives for the poor and disadvantaged. And most of the money going to progressives coffers goes to groups that actually look out for the Average Joe -- such as Planned Parenthood Federation of America, which actually has a better variety and better health care service facilities than hospitals. Hospitals exist today only to make money. Planned Parenthood is not like that -- not one bit. Planned Parenthood make 11 times less money than hospitals for every 42 hours their 900+ facilities are open.

And about who really supports Roe. Two out of every three Americans oppose any restriction on abortion in poll after poll. And these polls are not done by Feminist Majority Foundation president Ellie Smeal, former chairwoman of National Council of Women's Organizations Martha Burk or any other progressive. Instead, these polls were done by certified poll experts like Quinnipiac. So, that automatically shoots down Parker's claim that 70% of the public who wants women to be raped by our government and bear children against their will. All of the Democratic candidates were correct to slam the April 18 decision made by five uncouth activist male judges who legislated from the bench of the Supreme Court, while all of the Republicans supported the misogynist judges' decision to give 537 people (all House and Senate members, the Vice President and President) total control of women's bodies -- basically allowing the government to legalize mass gynocide. Already there has been over 224 million women murdered by our anti-choice government and their laws in nearly 231 years.

And what is really disturbing is that not once did The Situation Room host Wolf Blitzer bring up women's issues in Sunday's debate. It was all about Bush's murder-for-oil that has been going on in Baghdad for 4.25 years. While that is a major issue, so are our women. Our women have been oppressed by the Bush regime for six years and five months. If CNN have host (or co-host) another Democratic debate, they better dedicate almost the entire broadcast to women's issues.

Falwell is now being buried near his Fascist
The dick is being buried near the homophobic, racist, sexist university he built -- so-called "Liberty" University. Once buried, he will step into the front door of the Gates of Hell and will be the next one in line to meet Satan. Once he meets Satan, then he will be crying crocodile tears to the millions of women, hundreds of thousands of LGBT people, hundreds of thousands of minorities and millions of atheists he help his christofascist friends murder for the last 28 years running.

Zealot O'Reilly shows his misogynist colors one more time
Yep. Bill O'Reilly is a bigot, a misogynist, and a person undeserving of any respect or decency. He has once again gone after one of my newfound online friends, Amanda Marcotte. Ms. Marcotte did nothing wrong -- she exposed the agenda of the Christofascists and have been ostracized ever since. Lousy motherfuckers like O'Reilly and Bill Donohue need to get a grip and quit blaming progressives for holding up their pro-dictatorship agenda. People like O'Reilly have absolutely no respect for women, blacks, Asians, Hispanics, or LGBT people. The Christofascists need to get the hell out of this country and move to the Middle East and finish building their theocracy there.

Not Again...
Mood: irritated
The worst group of people in America, Westboro Baptist Church, plans to picket Jerry Falwell's funeral. That's right, the same group of idiots from Topeka, Kansas who showed up on the Tyra Banks Show and the same group of devils that picket funerals of fallen soldiers.

Breaking News: Jerry Falwell Dies at 73
Mood: happy
Progressives rejoice! One of the worst bigots in this country, Jerry Falwell has died. He was rushed to a Lynchburg, Virginia hospital and was not revived. He was responsible for the racism, misogyny and homophobia that has poisoned this nation. That news makes this the best day I had since August 28, 2003. Once again, Jerry Falwell is dead -- one less bigot to worry about in this nation.

The Focus is on FOCAs, WEA to combat misogynist White House, Supreme Court

Just thirteen days ago, a misogynist Supreme Court offically took women's freedoms away with a 5-4 decision. Now, more than ever, we can assure that not another misogynist person, like President Bush, James Bopp or those five uncouth male activists on the Supreme Court, make decisions for women by passing the Freedom of Choice Act, the Freedom of Choice Amendment or most importantly -- the Women's Equality Amendment

Again, I would like to commend my two newest heroes, Amanda Marcotte and Melissa McEwan for exposing the church's misogynist agenda on their personal blogs. Without them exposing this, we may have become a theocracy -- and as anyone may well know, nothing good ever comes from a theocratic country, regardless of whether it is run by Christofascists or Islamic extremists.
