Anti-choice terrorists assassinate America's OB-GYN

WICHITA -- I am absolutely livid right now with this brazen act of terrorism by the anti-abortion activists.

Dr. George Tiller, the person who I called America's OB-GYN for all the great work he did for women all over the nation, was assassinated by a 51-year-old man who was a member of numerous anti-choice terrorist organizations.

Dr. Tiller was shot around 11:05 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time (10:05 a.m. Wichita time). He died instantly from the wound.

Along with the rest of the people who work for Planned Parenthood collectively, Dr. Tiller was named #7 on the list of the 106 best people of the year by this blog in 2008.

The terrorist was apprehended just after 3 p.m. EDT nearly 180 miles away from the crime scene.

Again, I am furious at these anti-abortion activists. Every anti-abortion activist in America bascially aided and abbetted this cold-blooded terrorist. They are the ones who fomented this violence for the last 27 years -- spending 24 of them plotting to assassinate Dr. Tiller.

Which brings me to another sickening trend: these doctors get terrorized by the anti-abortion movement every single hour for saving pregnant women from certain death during childbirth.

Yet, the anti-choice activists get mad whenever they are called out for their acts of terrorism, such as the case in 2007 in Albuquerque.

The anti-choice activists are now "condemning" this act. Let me tell you what they are doing right now. They are trying to avoid any responsiblity for their role in this blatant act of terrorism. Every single anti-choice activist in America has blood on their hands right now because every last one of them are equally as responsible for this terrorist attack as the 51-year-old man currently being questioned by Wichita authorites.

The anti-abortion movement likes to say that they are peaceful. Bullshit. The anti-abortion movement is a movement that engages in acts of terrorism on a strikingly similar scale to that of Osama bin Laden and al-Qaida.

In fact, the anti-abortion movement is America's al-Qaida.

JACKSON -- There are no grocery stores standing in Jackson, meaning that citizens will have to go at least eight miles to Ralph's or Reid's in New Ellenton for produce or meat. (Via the Aiken Standard.)

What does Dollar General have that the citizens of this town of 1,680 need? Very little, unless they are going to drink whole milk and eat Pringles and Toast-It pastries. Dollar General doesn't have meat, produce, organic foods, or boxed pizza for that matter.

And with gas prices still hovering near $3.99, people 20 and younger and those 55 and older can ill-afford that kind of unnecessary road trip, even to New Ellenton.

The town of Jackson have some knowledge on the subject of grocery stores. Three years ago, they commissioned a market study on the issue and concluded that there was widespread support.

"It came back overwhelmingly that Jackson could support it," Etherredge said. "I definitely know the people will support it. The town is willing to do its part. Hopefully there is someone out there. The potential is there; it's just got to be the right person."

The owners of both Brinkley's and the Jackson Super Market are willing to work with anyone interested. In the meantime, Etherredge said Jackson could also use a full-time pharmacy and a dry cleaners.

Anyone who is interested in opening a grocery store or any other business in Jackson is encouraged to call Etherredge at 471-2229.

One thing I can say about the closings of Jackson's grocery stores is this: it is the direct result of the failed economic policies of President George W. Bush and Sen. John McCain. Their support for permanent tax cuts for the richest 3,030,000 people has contributed to the closures of Brinkley's and Jackson Super Market. And now the poor people in Jackson are starting to learn exactly what voodoo economics look like, even as Bush and McCain continues to ignore the problems happening in all of our communities -- both big and small.

That is one more reason why the Town of Jackson -- and the American people for that matter -- can ill-afford a McCain-Palin Administration. One more reason to vote against the GOP ticket on November 4.

Goodbye, Montel Williams

NEW YORK CITY -- And then there were ten.

The Montel Williams Show ended on Friday after 17 years of syndication.  Mr. Williams covered just about every topic over that time frame.  This included war, economy, terrorism, women's reproductive rights, LGBT rights, domestic violence, sexual assault, immigration, child abuse, animal abuse, sports, and other topics covered over the ten talk shows still in syndication: Ellen, Dr. Phil, Keith Ablow, Steve Wilkos Show, Jerry Springer, Oprah, Martha, Rachael Ray, Maury and Tyra Banks Show.  His guests were legendary -- they included nativists like Lou Dobbs, burlesque dancers, political pundits like Paul Krugman, athletes, leaders of the 527 political groups (the interest groups) and political leaders themselves.

Mr. Williams is a former member of the military who began by talking to kids in schools and arenas across the nation.  Then his talk show was what shot him up to stardom.  Mr. Williams set the bar for giving us the scoop on current events, and it is now up to the ten remaining hosts to keep us informed of what is happening on such a critical election year.

Goodbye, Mr. Williams.

Graniteville, three years later

GRANITEVILLE -- It is a day that changed me personally and Graniteville directly.

January 6, 2005.

2:33 a.m.

The exact time in which two trains collided when one of the trains wasn't even moving.  People in that town said they heard a loud BOOM as if something had exploded.

When I woke up at 6 a.m., I was stunned at what I saw.  USC Aiken was now a makeshift ER.

At 7 a.m., then I knew it was something far worse.

That is when I knew that lives 28 miles apart was going to be altered forever.  The 5,400 people in Graniteville had to levae their homes.  And for me and my best friend, we knew that this horrible event was going to be forever linked with her birthday.

By the time noon had gotten here, we got word of casualties.

At 8 p.m., that figure stood at eight people dead.

By 2007, the number stood at 11 people dead. Ten Americans and one Canadian.

And what has happened in Columbia?  Business as usual.

Our incompetent state government still as incompetent as ever for the past five years.  They have offered only meager help to the people in Graniteville.  And it is a disgrace.  And the State of South Carolina should hang their heads in shame.

And when you look at what our officials in Columbia has been doing to help us out, it is easy to see why the residents of Graniteville or Aiken County don't want to talk about the incident.

This is also one more reason as to why we need to change the faces of our do-nothing state government.

Today, let's remember the people of Graniteville, even if our state government doesn't.

Woman arrested for indecent exposure at NBA game

MEMPHIS -- A 35-year-old woman was arrested for showing her breasts at FedEx Forum.  Stephanie Simpson was arrested for indecent exposure at the game.

Incidents like this in a very large stadium shouldn't be defended by feminists as liberation unless they plan to join the fight to overturn all public indecency laws.  Keep in mind, a man would have been arrested much more quickly if he was to show his penis at a sports game, such as the situation seven years ago when someone showed his penis to former Atlanta pitcher John Rocker at Dodgers Stadium.

Hopefully, she will know that there are a time and a place for everything as long as we have these so-called 'morality' laws.

The Dictator-in-Chief talks about 2008 presidential race

WASHINGTON -- George Bush, the never-elected dictator of this nation, now talked about what qualities the next president should have in 2008. He mentioned that the next president must have knowledge of the world's problems. Well, guess what? Bush don't even know about the world's problems, and it is pretty evident he don't know jack because he has put our very honourable servicepeople in his own personal slaughterhouse that is Iraq.

What Bush really wants is another dictator in the White House, just like him. And each of the Republicans that are running for president (including the recently dropped-out Tom Tancredo as of 2 p.m.) are also all dictators.

So, if our democracy is to be saved, the Democrats are the only correct choice. And until we have a very pro-choice, very pro-gay, very pro-ERA independent running for the White House, the Democrats will continue to be the only correct choice for public office.

As for Bush, he is the worst current dictator far and away, even worse than Time magazine's Person of the Year, Vladimir Putin and Nicaragua's Daniel Ortega.

As the people of the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA) may well know, the Augusta (GA) Chronicle has an op-ed piece of Star Parker every Tuesday.  And now, the CURE (Coalition on Urban Renewal and Education) leader will bring her anti-black, misogynistic, far-right propaganda to Augusta, Georgia on Tuesday, October 9 @ approximately 18:30 @ the Marriott Hotels & Suites, 2 Tenth Street in Augusta-Richmond County, GA.  What's worse?  How about the fact that she supports crisis pregnancy centers, which has blatantly profitted of the exploitation of women like herself.  On top of that, food from the Augusta Pregnancy Center banquet is $45 per plate, something only the richest of the rich an afford.  And that is just for starters.

After the Rodney King incident in 1992, instead of joining all of the black community in calling out the white cops who beat King, Parker sided with the rogue cops, who were eventually acquitted of all charges against them.  Also, Parker has an affiliation to one of the biggest domestic terrorist groups: Operation Save America (formerly known as Operation Rescue).  And it is just astonishing at the lies she spread about our point: "It is one thing to take care of babies, it is completely another to take care of the mothers" and how we got it all wrong.  Yes, Parker has experienced the welfare state herself, but no, none of her solutions has proven to work -- either for the black community or for America as a whole.  As a matter of fact, it is the far-left's policies that have greatly contributed to the dramatic decrease in abortions.  The far-right's policies only increase the abortion rate, as evident in 1992.  Bush 41's ban on abortion dramatically jacked up the abortion rate in '92 to its highest level since 1971.  So again, banning abortion does nothing to lower the abortion rate, it only drives women to take desperate measures -- in many cases killing themselves in order to get rid of a doomed pregnancy.  And her statement about lawlessness stunting economic growth.  Economic freedom is the problem with our society, not the solution.  We are so obsessed with big business, big corporations and economic freedom, that we are losing our rights to our big brother governments in the state and federal levels and we the consumers are being constantly shut out by the corporations.  Economic improvement policies are cosntantly making us invisible.  And the losers the most often are the ones you'd expect to lose out everytime we start becoming economic-oriented, instead of working on social improvement -- blacks, women, and gays.

So, on October 9, I will strongly advise all of you not to attend the charade that Parker has in Augusta, Georgia.  Bring me a person that really cares about the black community -- like Barack Obama or Carol Moseley Braun -- and I will make reservations to attend.  Star Parker isn't a person that care about the black community, she is just another pawn of the GOP -- a predominantly white male party.  So no thanks, real black people will pass on this banquet.

Charles Norgle hands terrorists a win

Today, the Planned Parenthood clinic in Aurora, Illnois was denied the request to open its clinic.  The judge that delivered the ruling was Charles Norgle, a judge who would rather defend the right of terrorists than to defend the rights of women.

The opposition to the opening of the clinic was led by Joe and Eric Scheidler, the father-and-son team of terrorists, and co-founders of the Pro-Life Action Network, one of the many terrrorist organizations who target women's health clinics who perfrom abortions, just because they have far superior health coverage than any hospital in the world.  The duo brought more than 800 of their closest thugs into Aurora from Joliet and Chicago to protest the opening and also to attempt to bomb the proposed women's clinic.

 People should know that Gemini Office Development LLC is a subsidiary of Planned Parenthood, just like Capstar Tx is a subsidiary of Clear Channel.  Meanwhile, the city of Aurora continues to press on in their persecution of women by illegally investigating Planned Parenthood.  Planned Parenthood broke no laws and they should quite frankly get every single dime of litigation from the city.  I don't care if Aurora goes bankrupt because they have to pay Planned Parenthood for litigation.

Here we are in 2007, and women are still being denied basic human rights.  This, folks, is percisely why conservatism is our enemy.  The conservatives are on the side of the Taliban and al-Qaida.  Liberals are on the side of the American people.  If we are to be free, then we must wipe conservatism right off the face of this Earth.
